Event photo posted is of Scot’s 11th Annual Pre New Year’s Eve Dec. 30, 2015 at Tomi Jazz – Scot and Daryl Kojak who performed together that night.

Event Concept – Scot created and debuted this annual event on December 30, 2005 at the legendary Danny’s Skylight Cabaret Room (West 46th St. / Restaurant Row in NYC). This Pre New Year’s Eve Event is an alternative to a traditional New Year’s Eve evening in that it is much less expensive and much less traffic aggravation. Scot brings in / supplies for the audience party hats and noise makers / horns to celebrate the end of 2016 (we sing Auld Lang Syne together as the evening draws to an end). Scot’s 2nd Annual Pre New Year’s Eve December 30, 2006 was the very last show in Danny’s prior to its closing.

Scot Albertson – (Vocalist – Performer – Producer – Artistic Director – www.scotalbertson.com) debuted as a career performer at the legendary Danny’s Skylight Cabaret Room June 17, 2005. Since then, Scot has become a Tri State area Vocalist continually building upon a foundation of an audience / following with every appearance publicly releasing 6 self produced CDs. Scot’s performing venues: Danny’s, Laurie Beechman Dinner Theatre (3 year residency – NYC), Iridium Jazz Club, Jazz at the Kitano (5 year residency – NYC), Baruch Performing Arts Center, Brownstone Jazz (Brooklyn), Parnell’s (NYC), Miles Café, Somethin’ Jazz (NYC), Live Green CT Environmental Awareness Outdoor Festival (Norwalk CT – 5 year residency performing and promotional / marketing support), La Mediterranee French Bistro (NYC), Fuji of Japan (Darien CT), Scholes Street Studio (Brooklyn), Blueberry Music and Art Gallery (Greenwich CT), Salem Roadhouse Café (Union NJ – 2014 & 2015 performing support for annual benefit), Italian Bistro (Highland Park NJ), Metropolitan Room, Tomi Jazz (NYC – 7 year residency – 2009 to current / 2016), Hibiscus Restaurant Jazz Nights (Morristown NJ), Project 142 Concert Series (Manhattan – 4 house concerts 2012 – 2013), Bar Thalia Jazz Nights with John Lang (Symphony Space), Barnes & Noble (Lincoln Center Performing Space in NYC – 3rd & 4th CD Release Events), Westport CT Center for Senior Activities. Triad Theatre (NYC), WFDU Live Radio Interview with Host Joel Perry May 29, 2016, Symphony Space (NYC – 3 self produced concerts – Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre – 2013 thru 2016 – 6th CD Release Concert June 2013 – all 3 Two Sets with Two Bands concerts – Scot performing in both sets as bandleader). PRODUCING

Scot produced and hosted “Carousel” Public Access TV Weekly Interview Show (Cablevision) in Norwalk CT (2011 – 2013 – FaceBook Page for “Carousel”). Scot created and designed an entire new theme / Show introduction (incorporating a Peter White original composition for the Show music – www.peterwhite.com) significantly infusing life into a 24 year old show. Scot was hired as Artistic Director of Project 142 Concert Series by its Founder Rev. Dick Leonard Fall 2013 (www.project142.org). To date, Scot has booked, hosted and produced 88 concerts for Project 142 with a full Fall 2016 schedule in progress. Scot created and designed the logo and web site for Project 142.
