Event Details

Next in the First Fridays Series:

Scopus and Web of Science: Cross-Disciplinary Searching

Beyond the usual places for medical research, Scopus and Web of Science index many more interdisciplinary journals. Scopus is a new resource currently under consideration for licensing by the UC. In addition to indexing more journals, Scopus and Web of Science also provide unique views of author metrics, which can help you understand where certain topics are being published and group your individual publications for more effective searching. The session will also include a brief discussion of author disambiguation tools, such as ORCID.

Presented by Rikke Ogawa, Health and Life Sciences Librarian at the UCLA Biomedical Library. Please register to reserve your space. Can't join us in person? Sign up to attend via webinar.
