Please join us for our dinner fundraising event to help fund SCM programs here and abroad. We will be serving dinner, have a silent auction, and have speakers to share their experiences volunteering with SCM in the field. Hear recent updates on our programs, and bid on exciting silent auction items to provide food aid, medicines, educational programs and more to Syrian refugees in the camps and those resettled here in Washington state.

Dinner will include traditional middle eastern dishes such as mansaaf, pita, appetizers, and sweets for dessert.

A note about El Centro de la Raza: El Centro was chosen for a variety of reasons beyond having a nice event space. Their mission dovetails with ours:

"our mission is to build unity across all racial and economic sectors, to organize, empower, and defend our most vulnerable and marginalized populations and to bring justice, dignity, equality, and freedom to all the peoples of the world."

We are also working to protect the vulnerable, in our case it is the Syrian refugees who are fleeing violence and terror in their home country, and are enduring unspeakable horrors to find safety for themselves and their families. We want to ensure they are justly treated and treated with dignity. We want to help them find freedom to pursue their dreams, their children continue their education, and to live in peace and security. Join us in making this a reality.
