Event description

Description

Join us on Sept. 28th from 6 - 7:30pm for the kickoff event in our fall writing series! Larissa Sano, a Sweetland Science Writing Specialist, will discuss approaches to organizing content for different graduate-level writing samples, including manuscripts and fellowship proposals. The interactive workshop encourages students to discuss fundamental elements related to writing in STEM (conciseness, clarity, cohesiveness, etc). The event will end with strategies for peer review and motivation, including a sign up for our series’ peer review writing groups. Dinner from Jerusalem Garden will be provided! This event is co-hosted by M-ESWN and GradSWE.

*If you are interested in a peer review group, please also sign up here (even if you can't make the kickoff event): http://bit.ly/F17PeerReviewSignUP
