Science Works 2017 and Open House at Gwinnett Technical College
Thu, March 30, 2017, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM EDT
2017 Science Works and Open House!
Science Works engages curious people of all ages to see why (and how) science is so cool and how science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) help us to better understand and improve our world. The 4th annual Science Works will be hosted at Gwinnett Technical College, Lawrenceville on Thursday, March 30, 2017, 4 – 8 p.m.
This interactive event features the science in all of Gwinnett Tech’s programs – from Accounting to Welding! This is a great event for families with 6th to 12th grade students who can explore “science behind the scenes” through tours and activities. This is also a great opportunity to learn about hot jobs and what they pay!
See ALL of our programs in action!
We will have Star Wars character Darth Vader, in addition to Mario and Bumblebee the Transformer, at the event. Everyone will have the opportunity to have a photo taken with your favorite character.
We’ve had rave reviews from parents and adults, too, who attended Science Works last year because they were ready to start college or wanted to explore a new career! Science can be an exciting launch pad for more in-demand careers.
PLUS, be one of the first 800 people who check in at the registration tent and receive a FREE t-shirt and meal!
Plan to be here early, check-in begins at 4 p.m!
A limited number of walk-up registrations will be available at the registration tent beginning at 4 p.m. on March 30. The tent will be located in the back of Building 100, near Building 200. Look for directional signs.
