Hello Parents and Teachers:
It’s time to sign up for December Science Saturday!
The next Science Saturday will be presented by Dr. Jena Hwang, Research Scientist at IHMC. Children will learn about cryptology- the study of writing and solving secret codes. They’ll do hands-on activities involving the encoding and decoding of secret messages.
IHMC uses EventBrite to issue tickets for Science Saturdays. Please submit a reservation request for children in grades 3-5 (only) by clicking on the green REGISTER button above. You will be prompted to fill out some information before being issued a ticket. If there are no tickets available, you will be told we are sold out. If this happens, please don't give up! Please click on the button: JOIN WAITLIST. Enter your email and your child's full name. Then click on the blue button that says ADD TO WAITLIST. Please repeat this process for each child that you would like to add to the list.
If you’re on the waiting list, we will let you know no later than the Friday before the event if we can accommodate your child (or children). We usually are able to add quite a few children from the waitlist due to last minute changes in plans among ticket holders. It’s definitely worthwhile to join the wait list!
If you have problems registering or other questions, please call the IHMC front desk at 352-387-3050 and someone will be able to help you.
This Fall season of Science Saturdays is sponsored by Lockheed Martin and by Ron and Phyllis Ewers. The generosity of our sponsors helps make it possible for IHMC to offer this program free of charge to all attendees.
