Who: Volunteers of all ages are welcome; minors under 18 require a signed waiver and children under 12 require an accompanying adult unless prior approval is obtained from the workday supervisor.
What: We need your help planting native plants and maintaining the native plant demonstration garden for Palo Alto schools. Contribute to the community, learn about native plants, and help plant and care for the garden at the district’s Science Resource Center (SRC).
Where: Palo Alto School District Science Resource Center: Between JLS Middle School and Hoover Elementary School, alongside the portable off the bike path extending from Waverly Rd, near the JLS tennis courts. For a map of the location, please click here.
Please bring: A reusable water bottle and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes and long pants recommended). We provide gloves and tools. Minors under 18 must bring a waiver form signed by a parent.
