Science on Tap events are informal discussions with local scientists and experts on a particular topic. Science on Tap is a program of the SEE Science Center. The ongoing series is held the first Tuesday of each month from October to June. The events are free attendees are welcome to order from the food and beverage menus.
On February 5th we will be discussing the Science of Mental Health
Discover what is going on in the brain when a disorder from mild depression to schizophrenia is occurring. Join us as we explore the chemical causes for these conditions. How do the different types manifest? When do they typically surface and progress? Discuss the current and developing approaches to treatment, recognition and prevention.
