Science on Tap events are informal discussions with local scientists and experts on a particular topic. Science on Tap is a program of the SEE Science Center. Doors open at 5:00pm panelists are introduced at 6:00pm

On April 2nd our discussion topic will be Advances & Challenges from Conception to Birth

We all enter the world the same way –sort of. More than 8 million children have been born through IVF worldwide. Over 30% of deliveries in the U.S. are via c-section. Both fertility treatments and birth complications can put a mother’s life at risk. It has been widely reported that the U.S. has the highest maternal death rate among developed countries. As many as 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage. Join us as we discuss the scientific advances and ongoing challenges from conception to birth.

Join us as we converse with our panel of experts featuring:

Christine Ambrose, ND Ambrose Integrative Medicine,

Shawne Sherlock Broderick CNM Dartmouth Hitchcock
