Public science events may look different in 2022 than they did in 2019. They ought to: Things have changed. But events have always adapted to the moment. That's part of what makes events so powerful.

And it's why we still need to get together with our live event friends. We need to sort out this cultural moment together.​

There are going to be a few changes to this Summit from previous meetings. For example, it is going to be smaller, with a cap on attendance. It is also going to be gentler, with more time to reconnect with who you are as an event organizer.

But it's still going to be a meeting of peers built specifically for the people that register to attend. And it's still going to inspire and re-energize you, and fire you up for that special something that only happens when we get together in person.
