About this Event

Have you thought about an at-home DNA test? Has your doctor recommended genetic testing? What do they do with your information? Is it secure? Can you be discriminated against in your health insurance, life insurance, job security? What does the future hold for genetic testing and privacy?

Join us for an informal discussion to get all your questions answered!

Our expert, Dr. Leila Jamal, Sc.M., Ph.D. is a certified genetic counselor and bioethicist with clinical experience in pediatric neurology, oncology, and immunology. She is currently the Associate Director for Cancer Genomics in the Johns Hopkins/NIH Genetic Counseling master's degree program, with joint appointments to the National Cancer Institute and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
