Event description
Conversations with Drs. Sergio Aguilar-Gaxiola & Elizabeth Vasile from UC Davis Health

About this Event

Meaningful engagement is vital to improving community health. Since 2016, Science Cafés have offered a space for community members, health researchers, and clinicians to come together, talk about advances in science, and learn from one another.

For the final Science Café of the year, we invite everyone to join us in a conversation on how UC Davis and local communities can work together to improve health and cultivate change.

Light Refreshments Provided. Free and Open to All.

Sergio Aguilar-Gaxiola, M.D., Ph.D., is the Director of Community Engagement at the UC Davis Clinical and Translational Science Center & Center for Reducing Health Disparities. Elizabeth Vasile, Ph.D., is the Associate Director of Community Engagement at the UC Davis Clinical Translational Science Center.

Science Cafés are sponsored by the UC Davis Health - Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC) and Center for Reducing Health Disparities (CRHD), with support from the National Institutes of Health National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences.
