UC Davis CTSC Science Communication Fellowship Fall 2017

SciComm Fellowship Application Now Open

Application receipt deadline is Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

The Science Communication Fellowship is sponsored by the UC Davis Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC) FUTURE Program and Community Engagement Program. This opportunity is open to doctoral graduate students and post-doctoral scholars conducting scientific research. Fellows will gain valuable professional development skills and experience in science communication.

The Science Communication Fellowship provides professional development and communication skills for doctoral graduate students and post-doctoral scholars conducting scientific research. Enhance your science communication skills in a dynamic, engaging, and participatory workshop setting and develop a hands-on educational activity that you can use in multiple educational settings. Program participants will receive a certificate of completion (upon successful completion of attendance at all three workshops and one “Meet A Scientist” weekend event).

Cost to attend is free (valued at $500). A maximum of 12 participants will be accepted for the fall cohort.
