Chair: Professor Derek Bell OBE, RCPE President/Chair in Acute Medicine at Imperial College, London

Modern medicine is an integral part of the society we live in. In this lecture, Professor Bell will explore the importance of medicine in today’s world. He will discuss key topics that are studied at medical school, selected from the wide variety of disciplines available.

A question and answer session will conclude this lecture.

This event is one of a series of annual lectures run by the College for young people interested in a career in medicine.
