Description

Join us at the San Mateo County Office of Education (SMCOE) for the second annual Schools for a Sustainable Future Summit! This one-day event equips educators with the knowledge, skills, and values needed for moving this work forward across a school’s Campus and Operations, Curriculum and Instruction, and Community and Culture. It also creates the space for networking, problem solving, and exchanging innovative solutions that are driving environmental and social transformation across school communities.

Be INSPIRED by the journeys and stories of others who are driving environmental and social transformation across school communities.

UNDERSTAND the principles and values that guide action toward a sustainable future.

DEVELOP the skills needed for moving this work forward across a school's 4Cs: Campus and Operations, Curriculum and Instruction, and Community and Culture.

CONNECT with the ecosystem and established programs that are champions and advocates of environmental education.


Parking: Parking is available at SMCOE, and carpooling is encouraged! Additional parking is available at 303 Twin Dolphin Drive, Provident Credit Union parking garage, 2nd deck only. Refreshments: For your convenience, breakfast and lunch are provided. However, if you have specialized dietary restrictions, please plan to bring your own meals. A vegetarian option will be available.
