Description

Educational Data Integration in Baltimore: Current and Future Directions

Illustrated with examples from recent and current work conducted by the Baltimore Education Research Consortium, this presentation will cover “data integration,” the practice of compiling existing administrative data to address new research questions. Data integration offers a new way to conduct educational research and encourages us to rethink what we know about sampling and research participation. The talk will cover the opportunities and challenges offered to those who compile data.

Speaker series may be attended in-person or online
