The Multicultural Bar Reception is an opportunity to discuss pertinent current issues in today’s society that affect the communities we live in. This year’s theme is School Segregation: How We Can Expand Educational Opportunities through Integration and School Choice. The University of St. Thomas School of Law Black Law Students Association hosts this open and candid conversation to address the effects school segregation have on our communities and will explore solutions to this issue.

Honored keynote speaker, Daniel R. Shulman, principal at Gray Plant Mooty, has worked on desegregation involving the Minneapolis Schools. He will speak to the issue of school segregation in the Twin Cities by engaging a highly qualified panel of speakers who will explore solutions to school segregation by discussing school choice and integration.

The program is free and open to the public. Pending approval for a continuing legal education (CLE) credit. Dinner is complimentary for those who rsvp through Eventbrite.
