While governors are not generally involved in the actual implementation of change in schools (other than when the activities of the governing body is the subject), an understanding of the principles that underpin its successful management is important to enable governing bodies to prompt, champion, monitor and evaluate the impact of change initiatives in the best interests of current and future students.
This session will discuss the key elements of the change process from recognising the need to embedding new practice and the governing body's role as outlined above
This training session is free of charge to governors whose governing body purchases a training subscription with either Kent or Medway Gpvernor Services. Other governors are welcome to attend at a cost of £90 which is charged to their school
Governors with access to Medway GovernorHub should make their booking through the training page. Other governors should contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for information and booking
Late cancellation charges apply and we reserve the right to cancel or amend this session if necessary
