School District of Philadelphia Sustainability & Climate Change Teacher Training Workshop August 13-15

Join us for this three-day workshop for teachers interested climate change and related issues such as sustainability, carbon footprint, green infrastructure. The event will include an introduction to climate change, sustainability, a screening of Al Gore's An Inconvenient Sequel, and interactive sessions led by experts in sustainability and education. This interdisciplinary event will take place at the Franklin Institute, the Philadelphia Art Musuem, and the Fairmount Water Works for educators in grades 4 - 12.

The event will be hosted by the School District of Philadelphia, National Wildlife Foundation, Walton National Sustainability Teachers' Academy, Boyer Sudduth Environmental Consultants, and The Franklin Institute's Climate & Urban Systems Partnership.

Lunch will be provided. The National Wildlife Federation will provide Visa gift cards to School District of Philadelphia teachers attending the three-day workshop.
