Event description

Description

Gifted Music School's Scholarship Gala is our culminating performance of the year, featuring our nationally-recognized Conservatory Orchestra at its finest. You will experience firsthand the inspiring pathway students take on their journey to becoming great human beings and great musicians alike.

Joining the orchestra will be Laurie Smukler, Juilliard professor and renowned violinist. Known for her vivid musical intensity and the beauty of her sound, Laurie will solo alongside Gifted Music School students under the baton of Conner Gray Covington. The concert will include R.V. Williams’ beloved Lark Ascending, Mendelssohn's Double Concerto for Violin and Piano, Vivaldi’s Concerto for Three Violins, and more. It will be a spectacular array of musical masterpieces played by some of classical music’s rising stars.

Proceeds from this event benefit the students of GIfted Music School, 40% of whom study on full scholarships. Come celebrate their stunning achievements at this unforgettable evening rich with music, food, and friends!
