Scholars Dinner 2017
Fri, April 21, 2017, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM CDT
You are cordially invited to the Trinity Scholars Dinner, Friday, April 21, 2017 at 6:00 pm in the Grand Lobby of Trinity's Ozinga Chapel.
Every year, Trinity holds this dinner to celebrate collaborative research between students and faculty. This collaborative work is a signficant part of the academic experience at Trinity Christian College.
This year we honor 2005 Alumni Dr. Matthew Koster. Matthew recently received his M.D. in 2009 from Loyola University, and is currently in a clinical fellowship at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine.
Dr. Matthew Koster will be speaking on "My life as a T cell: a theological and immunological narrative." God is at work in us, preparing us in accordance with His plan, for the purpose of His will. While this process can be seen macroscopically in our lives, it is similarly evidenced at the microscopic level of His creation. Dr. Matthew Koster will review some of the many parallels between cellular differentiation and God’s involvement in our personal and spiritual maturation, with particular focus on Trinity’s involvement in further developing his faith and interest in research.
