SCCUR is an annual research conference held in southern California where students from all disciplines, including the Arts, Humanities, Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, etc. are invited to present their research findings. SCCUR draws 800-1200 participants, mainly undergraduates and their faculty mentors, administrators, and community college and high school students.

This year, SCCUR 2019, will take place in San Diego county for the first time, hosted by California State University, San Marcos.

Our keynote speaker for 2019, Dr. John Warner, is President and Chief Technology Officer of Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry. He will lecture on efforts to make green technology truly clean and help us reach the “world we want.”

Areas of Disciplines: All disciplines are welcome including Arts, Humanities, Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, etc.

Events: Poster and oral presentations, creative writing and poetry showcase, arts performance, textile and fashion showcase, and workshops

The theme of the the textile and fashion showcase is upcycling and sustainable wears.

Parking and Check-in

Please park on the 2nd-6th floors of the Parking Structure (PS1)

There will be signs directing participants where to park and check-in.
