SCBWI Qld Art in the Park

There’s an exciting new event open to all book creators at every stage of the journey. Hosted by SCBWI Qld Illustrator Coordinator and local illustrator, Kristen Willis, Art in the Park is a quarterly, free creative meet-up open to everyone (members and non-members welcome!).

At our last event, energetic fingers crafted mini pocket-sized magazines filled with observational drawings of the gardens, a playful way to capture the colours, textures and stories of the space. It was such a hit that we’re doing it all again… Vol. 2!

Bring a hat, your favourite drawing materials and some sturdy walking shoes.
