The Village Advisory Committee is a group of stakeholders made up of individuals living with sickle cell disease, clinicians and researchers. The Advisory Committee was established by the Sickle Cell Associaiton of New Jersey (SCANJ) and is focused on identifying patient centered research topics that are relevant to the sickle cell community.
SCANJ received a financial award from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). This funding gives us the opportunity to help drive research that can make a real difference for individuals living with sickle cell disease.
