The Scaled Professional Scrum workshop is for anyone wanting to learn more about the Scaled Professional Scrum framework (the Nexus™) or who wants a lean and agile approach to formulating, executing, and managing a scaled Scrum software development effort – multiple teams developing a single, done, integrated increment.
The Scaled Professional Scrum workshop will show you how to launch, structure, staff, and manage a large Scrum project. In this two day workshop you will organize and simulate a scaled software development project to learn the framework, tools and practices necessary for success. You will leave having experienced how to scale Scrum in order to maximize the value of your software development initiative.
You will be introduced to the Scaled Professional Scrum framework and walk through forming and managing a Nexus™, the core development unit of Scaled Professional Scrum. This experience will help you understand the techniques, philosophies, and challenges that Ken Schwaber, Jeff Sutherland, and other experts at Scrum.org have learned through years of formulating and coaching scaled Scrum projects.
The Scaled Professional Scrum workshop provides the most value to development leads, managers and anyone else involved in formulating, participating or managing scaled Scrum software development. Organizations are encouraged to send a team of people that will be (or already are) running large Scrum initiatives. It is especially targeted toward those who already are effectively running small Scrum projects and want to apply multiple Scrum teams to develop a large system or software product, or those who are currently managing such scaled efforts.
