Event description

Description

*NOTE* All three modules included in the 4-person team price of €1500. Two teams maximum.

High alignment and high autonomy are not a tradeoff. In a self-organising team, they can be achieved recipricoly between team leads and a strategic alignment counterpart. In a Holacracy practictioner, these are the roles of Lead and Rep Link. Here we offer these teams language and playbooks to ensure alignment with purpose and deep learning from commercial frontline experiences.

In commercial circles, 80% percent of all deals fail to close. Friction is a natural consequence of enacting purpose with people and resources. Mixing in external customers and hierarchical entities only makes this more difficult. This course is designed with guiding principles to help team leads effectively prioritise. As a team, you will get concepts for learning and reacting in an agile, iterative environment.

In Holacracy terms, the habits and tools in this course are made to support the Lead Link’s accountabilities in “concentric purpose” and the Rep Link’s accountabilities in a process called “Back-briefing”. Both of these are based on the tension cycle of aligment gaps, effects gaps and knowledge gaps.

tools

The Scale-Up Toolkit is based on the Holacracy Constitution (V4.0), the book, Art of Action, and the current state of business and technology. Your internal and external environments bring Tension every day. How are you equipped to process those Tensions? We assess your strengths against the 4 key habits of highly effective communications: listening, planning, doing, and inspiring. We provide 2 custom tools, designed for the accountabilities of the Lead and Rep Link or similar roles, to capture and absorb knowledge from market dialogue.

  • Identifying sources of “friction” and iterative countermeasures

  • How SCRUM can combat friction and tension

  • Lead Link - How to align Super-Circle- Sub-Circle purpose

  • Rep Link – “Backbrief” Method to inform + counterbalnace Lead/Super-Circle

results

Team leads, or Lead Links, will better align the “what” and “why” of the Super-Circle to the metrics and accountabilities of the Sub-Circle. Elected Rep Links will learn how to better sense and process tension, including best practices in the community to enact the visability provision to the Super-Circle. Both Roles will be better equiped to provide input to any compensation efforts based on market activities and tension resolution.

In addition to the principles work, we would be happy to provide an “app” congruent with the learning model toolkits. This could be a new policy enacted by the Rep Link in a Strategy Meeting among the Super-Circle.
