Description

Please join the Student Conservation Association (SCA) in planting 50 native trees in Hammond on Saturday, April 27th in celebration of Arbor Day!

Planting will take place at Harrison Park in Hammond, IN!



WHEN: Saturday, April 27th, 9:00 am to Noon. Registration beginning at 8:30 am, kick-off at 9:00 am.

WHERE: Individuals can park north of the park along Webb St., south of the park along Waltham St. or to the east of the park in the parking section off of Lyman Ave.. Look for the Student Conservation Association work truck and trailer as well as the blue pop up tent!

WHAT: Volunteers will plant, mulch, and water native trees.

BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.

PROVIDED: All project supplies (tools, gloves, etc.) are provided. Drinking water will be available throughout the event.
