SBS Graduation Drinks Reception 2026

Congratulations! You will soon be a graduate from the School for Business and Society at the University of York.

You and your guests are invited to a drinks reception to celebrate your achievements. Join your fellow graduating students, academics, and staff as you celebrate your success and raise a glass to the future.

This event will take place after the morning graduation ceremony, and before the afternoon ceremony. This will include a glass of prosecco or soft drink on arrival and a selection of canapes. Bar facilities will also be available, where you will be able to purchase additional drinks. A range of dietary substitues will be available.

An awards reception will take place at 12pm presented by Bob Townley.

You are welcome to bring your guests (a maximum of two with each graduate, please). Simply tell us how many tickets you require when you book your place.

The deadline for booking your free tickets is Monday the 5th of January 2026 at 9am.

Please note: Due to the capacity of the venue, tickets are limited and early booking is recommended. There may be tickets on the door but this is not guaranteed.
