Overview
Every day, the government buys billions of dollars' worth of goods and services from businesses. In an ongoing effort to assist businesses interested in selling to the government, the New York City Department of Small Business Services APEX Accelerator offers Technical Assistance.
This workshops equips participants with the knowledge and tools to navigate the RFP process, strategically evaluate opportunities, and submit competitive proposals.
This workshop is designed to help participants navigate the NYC procurement process and successfully respond to RFPs. Attendees will learn how to use PASSPort to identify key submission requirements and develop a structured Go/No Go decision-making process to evaluate opportunities. The workshop covers how to prepare a compliant and competitive technical and cost proposal, while addressing key requirements such as diversity participation goals. Participants will also gain insights into post-submission strategies, including debriefs and Freedom of Information requests, to improve future proposals. By the end, they will be equipped to evaluate, prepare, and submit successful proposals while ensuring compliance with MWBE and subcontracting goals.
