The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is offering low-interest, long-term disaster loans for working capital to the small businesses, private non-profit organizations in designated states and territories suffering substantial economic injury as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

SBA Disaster Assistance for Small Business

Last Friday, a $350 billion economic recovery bill was passed to help small businesses affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Emergency capital is now available through the SBA 1. online and 2. through financial institutions.

1. Paycheck Protection Program

Reach out to your BANK. SBA and Treasury Department is launching the Paycheck Protection Program to help keep employees on payroll and small businesses operating.

• Starting April 3rd, businesses can go to a participating SBA 7(a) lender, bank, or credit union, to apply for a loan.
• These loans can be FORGIVEN. APPLICATION HERE
• HOW TO APPLY: Speak with an SBA lender about this program, a LENDER LIST can be found on our website at: www.sba.gov/MA

2. Economic Injury Disaster Loan

The Economic Injury Disaster Loan is a low-interest, long-term loan for up to $2 million. The first payment is deferred for 12 months. The application can be completed online at www.sba.gov/DISASTER

• If you apply for that Disaster Loan – you can ask for an “Economic Injury Disaster Loan Advance” for UP TO $10,000 as part of the loan application. If approved for the advance you can receive the funds in as soon as 3 days to pay for payroll and other operating expenses; the advance amount only will be FORGIVEN. APPLY ONLINE.
