#SayHerName: An Activist Happy Hour With AAPF

Description
On March 26, 2018 come celebrate the opening of The African American Policy Forum's 4th Annual #HerDreamDeferred series with #SayHerName: An Activist Happy Hour sponsored by Busboys and Poets. From 5:30pm-8pm Executive Director Kimberlé Crenshaw, AAPF staff and guests will be sharing updates on #SayHerName, #BlackGirlsMatter and our initiatives over drinks and food. The first 50 guests will get a free drink on AAPF!
From 7:00-8:00pm, following a short presentation, there will be an activist open mic. If you have a performance piece that reflects the experiences of Black women in the United States or one of AAPF's campiagns we would love to invite you to perform.
