Say Her Name 5th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony
Event Information
Description
On December 14th, 2014, the African American Policy Forum (AAPF) launched the #SayHerName campaign to bring awareness to the names and stories of Black women and girls who have been killed by police, and to provide support to their families. In honor of the campaign’s fifth anniversary, Kimberlé Crenshaw and AAPF invite you to an intimate gathering to honor those we have lost and reflect on the lives that should have been. Please join us for an inspiring and energizing remembrance ceremony.
This event is co-sponsored by Columbia Law School's Center for Intersectionality and Social Policy Studies and Empowering Women of Color.
Date: Saturday, December 14
Time: 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
