Sax & Cigars at The Westin
Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EST)
On November 21, 2013 Fuente and Newman families will be teaming up with the Westin to host the fourth annual Sax & Cigars event to benefit the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation right here in Tampa.
For those of you who have attended this event in years past, you may notice a little something different about the name. Our original event, Saks & Cigars, was held at one of America’s finest retail establishments- Saks Fifth Avenue. As many of you know, the Tampa Saks store closed earlier this year causing us to change the location of this great event; but the name we couldn’t part with. When The Westin generously opened their doors to us, we decided to add a Jazz element to the event and have a saxophone player provide the entertainment, turning Saks & Cigars into Sax & Cigars.
If you’re looking for a relaxing night on the water with distinguished cigars, excellent cuisine, live entertainment and an amazing raffle, then this is an event that you don’t want to miss. 100% of the proceeds of the evening will go to help the children and families of the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation.

Cigar Family Charitable Foundation
What began as a plan to add a wing onto an existing school has grown into the 23 acre Cigar Family Complex. This Complex includes a primary and secondary school a health center, an organic farming program, and a sports and recreational facility. Through the Cigar Family Complex, children and families are being provided with the resources and tools they need to help themselves create opportunities for their future. The founding families are committed to ensuring a positive and productive future for the children of the area. That commitment translates to 100% of the administrative costs being underwritten, allowing the Foundation to say with complete confidence that all contributions made to CFCF will go directly to those children and families served; a statement few charities can make.
