About this Event
This conference will investigate historical causes for the formation of the First Palestinian Congress, the Muslim-Christian Associations, and the course of the Palestinian National Movement to this day. It will also retrace the political and social profiles of those who established these different Palestinian organizations pre- and post-Nakba.
The conference is organized by Columbia Global Centers | Amman in partnership with the Institut Francais Proche Orient, the Institute for Palestine Studies, and Al Hekma Association.
A keynote address will be delivered by Rashid Khalidi, Edward Said Professor of Modern Arab Studies, Columbia University on Saturday December, 14 at 6:30 pm.
