Fourth Annual Save Our Lakes Community Breakfast “2015: A Watershed Year for Our Lakes”

Save Our Lakes is a community breakfast and the annual meeting of the Clean Lakes Alliance, created to bring the community together to review our progress towards cleaner, healthier lakes. The breakfast is a time to celebrate and assess the past year, and to launch new programs and initiatives for the year ahead.

You’re invited to celebrate with Clean Lakes Alliance as we review our community progress towards cleaner lakes and share our plans for a watershed year. We will explore how our lakes and our working lands enrich our economy, our environment, and our culture.

About the breakfast

Join us at the Monona Terrace on May 5, 2015 from 7:30 – 9 a.m. hear from local leaders, elected officials and scientists about our community's efforts to save our lakes. Ben Brancel, Secretary of the WI Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection will give the keynote address.

Clean Lakes Alliance will present the State of the Lakes Annual Report on the status of water quality in lakes Mendota, Monona, Wingra, Waubesa and Kegonsa, and share our plans for A Watershed Year for Our Lakes. A series of videos and speakers will explore these topics, and guests will each take home a copy of the report.
