#1. IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR OWN BOAT...

      1. Please drop your boat off at the Put-In location:

             PUT-IN LOCATION:
             Savannah Rapids Pavilion
             3300 Evans to Locks Rd

      2. Then park your car at the Take-Out location and take the shuttle back to the Put-In.
          
          TAKE-OUT LOCATION:
          North Augusta Boat Ramp
          Hammond's Ferry Road

#1. IF YOU ARE RENTING A BOAT...
 

      1. Park your car at the Take-Out location and take the shuttle back to the Put-In where your rental boat will be located.

          TAKE-OUT LOCATION:
          North Augusta Boat Ramp

          Hammond's Ferry Road
          North Augusta, SC 29841

#2. Please arrive at the Take-Out location parking area to catch a shuttle bus NO LATER THAN 8:00 AM.


#3. Don’t forget to fill out your ACA waivers - print, sign and bring them with you!

#4. Please bring water, hat, sunscreen, and anything else you may need to stay happy on the river.


#5. All participants must wear a properly fitted U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket at all times while on the river for safety and to meet Georgia River Network and ACA policies. If you are bringing your own boat, you are responsible for also bringing a life jacket for each member of your party. If you are renting a boat, one will be supplied for you. Thanks for your cooperation!

 

#6. In our efforts to make this an environmentally conscious/friendly event we ask that you bring your own water bottle (we will have igloo coolers with ice water and PowerAde for you to fill them with). We will also be using reusable plates for lunch and will have a wash station to reduce trash. Thanks for your understanding!

 

#7. We will eat lunch on a riverbank. If you purchased a lunch, it will be passed out at the lunch stop. If you did not purchase lunch, you are responsible for bringing your own lunch or snacks.

 

#8. If you would like to become a member and support the work of all partnering organizations (Georgia River Network, Savannah Riverkeeper, and Georgia Kayak Fishing) for a special price of $40, please make sure to check this option when registering. 
 

#9. If you would like to participate in the Kayak Fishing Program you must present a valid Fishing License upon check in.

 

The stretch we are paddling is 3 miles and has beginner class 1 rapids. Thank you and we look forward to exploring this Hidden Gem with you!
