Important Note:
Starting Saturday, February 13th, the High Line will not be accessible from Gansevoort Street to 14th Street due to neighboring construction. As an alternative, please enter and exit via the 14th Street stair or elevator; 450 West 14th Street.
Reserving Free Timed-entry Passes:
- The High Line is currently open with modified operating hours, amenities, and limited capacity in order to allow for social distancing.
- On weekdays, the park opens at 7am without reservations. On weekends, the park opens at 10am with reservations. Please reserve your weekend visit online in advance.
Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 7am – 7pm. Open access without reservation
- Saturday & Sunday: 10am – 6pm. Free timed-entry reservations; Limited walk-up entries available.
Entering and Visiting:

- The High Line is open from Gansevoort Street, in the Meatpacking District, to the Spur, at 30th Street and 10th Avenue.
- During all open hours, you’re welcome to enter at Gansevoort Street, 23rd Street, or 30th Street, and may move north or south. All other access points remain exit-only and safety protocols are enforced.
- Elevators are available at Gansevoort Street, 23rd Street, and 30th Street. The elevator at 14th Street is for exit only. The 34th Street gate and the 11th Avenue stairs are closed.
- Access to 30th Street, from Hudson Yards to the Spur, is permitted without a reservation during all open hours. This includes entry at the Hudson Yards gate, Coach Passage stairs, and the Spur stairs. If you wish to continue south on the High Line from 30th Street, a timed-entry reservation system is in place on weekends and limited walk-up entries are available.
- You may arrive any time during your 30-minute entry window. We cannot guarantee entry outside of your reserved window.
Visitor Guidelines:
- Visitors are asked to wear a mask or face covering
- Maintain 6-foot distance between each person not in your same household
- If you are sick, stay home
- Wash your hands frequently
- Cover your coughs and sneezes
- Do not touch your face
