Laugh twice as hard than ever before! Saturday Splits brings together four of Lisbon's best comedians with one mission. TO HAVE YOU IN SPLITS!

The comedians will do longer sets during this split bill so that you can get to know them better and they can get deeper into their material. This is why unlike our other shows we limit this show to 3-4 comedians.

This week we feature four of Portugal's favorite comics - Clinton, Dan Burt, Francesco Carnovale and Daniel Fernandes!

Clinton is a stand-up comedian originally from Houston, TX. He started performing in New York City and spent the last 11 years in Geneva, Switzerland where he founded Geneva Stand-Up Comedy and ran a monthly open mic night. He can now be found performing in Lisbon and other stages around Europe. When Clinton is not on stage, you can find him reading stuff on the internet or doing miscellaneous dad things. Francesco is a half-Italian, half-Brazilian comedian who first stepped on stage in Beijing at a local English open mic. Many years and several traumas later, he found himself in Portugal, where he has been a regular in the Lisbon stand-up scene. Performing in English, Italian, and Portuguese, his comedy blends cultural absurdities, expat misadventures, and a healthy dose of self-deprecation.

Daniel Fernandes is a Portuguese comedian who proves humor can sail across languages, literally. Performing in English, he delights audiences with sharp, observational wit and fearless takes on history, culture, and awkward truths. His most famous joke about Portuguese ships reminds us that no nation’s past is safe from a proper roast.

After performing all over the US for over two decades Dan Burt brings his unique outlook on life to Portugal. Dan's stand up covers everything from marriage to having a kid to mental health, oh and a fantastic cat impression. Come see the comedy that got him an audition for Saturday Night Live.

Comedy is the best ice breaker, especially if you're new in town. So join us for a great evening of fun and maybe you'll even make some new friends for life.

Doors open at 8.30PM. Come enjoy some drinks! The show starts at 9PM so please be comfortably seated by then, drinks in hand.

The schedule is kind of like this:

8.30PM - Doors open and we start serving drinks and snacks

9.00PM - Comedy show starts

9.45PM - Short break, drink refill, perhaps a sneaky quick snack.

10.30PM - Show ends and there is time for more drinks, laughter, and merry making!

The venue (Selva Comedy Cafe) will serve craft beer, wine, cocktails (espresso martini, g&t, lisbon mule, etc.), Why Not organic sodas, kombucha, and some light snacks!

How it works: Please register to reserve your spot through Eventbrite and arrive by 8.30PM. We have VERY limited seating so it's best to reserve your spot and arrive on time! We hold your reservation until 8.45PM.
