Saturday Sketch / Hawaiian Mission Houses: Art & History Event

Do you love history, architecture and sketching?
Join us for this one of a kind afternoon event which includes a special tour of Mission Houses, basic drawing instruction, sketch* time, art share and socializing. Light refreshments included.
*Attendees should bring their own art supplies. Recommended: sketch pad and ink pen and/or travel watercolor kit and something to sit on while sketching (beach towel, stool, beach chair).
All levels welcome!

What time should I arrive?
Please arrive by 12:00 to allow time for check in and an introduction to the sketch portion of the event before the tour.
What are my parking options for the event?

Will there be food at the event?
There will be light snacks and water. We encourage you to bring your own water container and refill to save on waste. Please eat lunch before the event or bring a brown bag if you prefer. Note that food is not allowed on the tour portion of the event.
Are there accessibility issues at the site?
Yes. There will be some narrow steps, uneven ground and tree roots to navigate.
Do I need to bring my own art supplies?
Yes. Recommended: sketch pad and ink pen and/or travel watercolor kit and something to sit on while sketching (beach towel, stool, beach chair).
Will I receive art instruction?
Yes. Basic drawing instruction will be provided along with an opportunity to share your work and receive feedback.
What is the dress code for the event?
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Can I update my registration information?
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No need. Let's keep it green. HHF will have a guest list at the event.
When do I pay?
Payment will be collected online through eventbrite when you purchase a ticket for the event.
Are HHF members required to purchase tickets?
Yes, HHF members must also reserve online & purchase their tickets online. To check on the status of your membership call 808-523-2900.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
