Join us at City of Hope for FREE monthly Saturday Science Days. Each month we will explore a new science topic, each session filled with informative lessons, fun hands- on activities and interactions with City of Hope staff and scientists.Depending on the topic, Saturday Science Days will either be presented in a museum or classroom style format.


  • June: Students ages 6 to 10
  • July & August: Students ages 8 to 13


  • Morning Session: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Afternoon Session: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Each session can accommodate 20 to 30 students. If a day is full and you would like to be placed on a waiting list, please email with the student's name/s, and age/s, city of residence and preferred session (morning, afternoon or either).

Registration for each month will open on the first of that month at 9:00 am.

Each student attending needs a ticket. Parents who wish to observe do not need a ticket. However, parents are NOT able to participate in the activities.

NOTE: You do not need to bring your printed ticket to the event

City of Hope- Science Education Partnership Award

SEPA was created to encourage active biomedical and/or behavioral scientists to work as partners with educators, media experts, community leaders and other interested organizational leaders on projects that improve student understanding of the health sciences in K-12 education, and increase the public's understanding of science.
