Event description

Description

Satterberg Program Officers host in-person information sessions and webinars to discuss the Core Support Grant. The information sessions last one hour, with a 10-minute overview of Satterberg’s mission and methodology, the Core Support Grant process (including timeline), and LOI questions. The bulk of the 50-minute session is dedicated to answering questions from attendees about Satterberg and the Core Support Grant.

Please Note: Space is Limited so please RSVP.

Typically, we have room for about 20-25 participants. Before you RSVP, Satterberg asks that your organization:

  • Be eligible to apply for a Core Support Grant. Please thoroughly read the Satterberg website and Core Support Grant information to determine eligibility before signing up to attend a session.

  • Be respectful of space, and bring no more than 2 representatives from your organization. 1 individual is preferred.

  • Be prepared to ask questions! The information session is designed to answer questions from attendees. Please attend if you are ready to ask questions about Satterberg and the Core Support Grant.

Overview of Core Support Grants:

The Satterberg Foundation provides funding opportunities to nonprofit organizations through the Core Support Grant-- a multi-year general operating grant that funds up to $100,000 per year, for up to three years. In 2019, Satterberg aspires to provide up to 60 grants. This program is structured to represent a blend of ideas that Satterberg believes will contribute to resilient nonprofit organizations, strong partnerships with the Foundation, and ultimately the fulfillment of Satterberg’s mission to promote a Just Society and a Sustainable Environment.

Through the Core Support Grant program, the Foundation seeks to fund organizations doing the majority of their work in Washington and California that are aligned with Satterberg’s mission and the program’s priorities. The Satterberg Foundation values building relationships as opposed to transactional grantmaking, and we aim to create a program that can evolve over time through learning and experiences with our grantee partners. A big thank you to Center for Justice for hosting this session at their offices!
