About this event

Students will log in to our digital testing platform for the test. The test is computer adaptive which means that each student will receive a unique test.

Here is how it works:

  • Testing instructions will be sent 24 to 48 hours before test time
  • Students should plan for about 2.5 hours of testing time
  • Students on an IEP can select the appropriate "extended time testing" before starting the test and should plan for a slightly longer testing time
  • A calculator is allowed but the DESMOS calculator is also integrated into the testing site
  • Scratch paper is allowed

Here is what parents and students will receive:

  • Detailed scoring and item-analysis feedback will be available and accessible immediately after the test
  • A review of the results with a certified educational specialist is also provided and can be scheduled in advance or shortly after the test.

Frequently asked questions

Will I need a computer to take the test?

Yes, the SAT is now a digital test and our assessment also digital computer adaptive test. Most computers, operating systems, and browsers will work without a problem.

How do I set the timing for the test if I have an "extended time" accommodation?

Once you access your individual assessment, a dialog box will appear through which you can select "regular time," "1.5 time," or "2.0 time."

Do I need a calculator?

You are welcome to bring a calculator but the new SAT also has the DESMO calculator integrated into the test (and so does this assessment)!
