Are You an Internationally Trained Lawyer (ITL) in Saskatchewan?

Let’s Brainstorm Solutions to the Articling Crisis

ITL's face significant barriers when trying to secure articling positions, or in integrating into Saskatchewan’s legal community.

We believe it’s time for a collaborative conversation.

Join us for a 90-minute brainstorming session designed to explore real solutions to the challenges facing ITL’s in our Province. Facilitated by Charmaine Panko, K.C., this event brings together ITL's, law firm leaders, and organizations to share experiences, generate ideas, and inspire change.

This ITL Brainstorming Session is part of Panko Collaborative Law & Mediation’s 10th Anniversary Celebration.

Date: Tuesday, August 26, 2025

Location: The Venue, McLean Block, Downtown Saskatoon.

Panko Collaborative Law & Mediation’s 10th Anniversary Celebration: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

ITL Brainstorming Session: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

We warmly invite you to attend our 10th anniversary celebration beforehand—a casual and welcoming gathering to connect with colleagues, enjoy refreshments, and reflect on a decade of supporting families through Collaborative Law and mediation. It’s a perfect lead-in to the conversation that follows.

What to Expect at the ITL Brainstorming Session:

  • A facilitated panel discussion featuring key voices in the legal industry
  • Space to share your story and contribute to meaningful change
  • Opportunities to connect with others navigating similar challenges
  • A shared commitment to making Saskatchewan’s legal profession more inclusive

Whether you’re currently navigating the articling process or want to help improve it for others, your voice is welcome here.

We encourage you to share this invitation with fellow ITLs and legal community members who are passionate about this issue.

Let’s come together to build a stronger, more supportive path forward.
