Arun Singh, MD, UCLA Assistant Professor and Co-Director of the Medical Oncology Sarcoma Program, reviews the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care of patients diagnosed with sarcomas – a spectrum of rare diseases. He discusses the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to caring for patients with these malignancies. He presents the evolving biologic understanding of sarcomas and how these new insights are leading to the development of the next generation of therapies for these patients.
