Minnesota folk favorites Peter Mayer and Sara Thomsen return to share the beautiful Sacred Heart Music Center stage in this great double bill Saturday, April 1.

Peter Mayer has been singing and songwriting full-time for 25 years, performing in venues across the United States and beyond. He writes songs for a small planet, songs about life and the mysterious fact of our existence. He also writes about dress hats, pumpkins and pajamas and other important stuff. Peter has 11 albums to his credit and recently released four new singles in the the last year.

Northland singer-songwriter Sara Thomsen has released six solo albums including her latest “Song Like a Seed.” She is artist director and member of “Three Altos” and is the founder and artistic director of the Echos for Peace Choir. Her music has been compared to Joan Baez, Pete Seeger and Holly Near, filled with passion for love, life, nature and human rights.

Peter and Sara will perform solo sets and play together on a few choice songs as well in this one-night-only show.
