- Thursday - Sunday 11:00am-5:00 pm, Vintners Visa Tasting Pass at various wineries and tasting rooms
- Saturday 9:30-11:00am, Santa Barbara Wine Seminar (with optional lunch) at the Santy Ynez Valley Marriott, Buellton
- Saturday 1:00-4:00pm (Early Entry & Connoisseurs Club at 12:00pm), Festival Grand Tasting at Riverview Park, Buellton
- Saturday 7:00pm, Big Bottle Bash, K'Syrah, Solvang
The highlight of the weekend is the Festival Grand Tasting on Saturday, April 22 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m (Early Entry and Connoisseurs Club at 12:00 p.m.) at the beautiful River View Park in Buellton, the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country Enjoy rew release wines from participating member wineries; food sampling from more than twenty food purveyors; live music; wine and cooking demonstrations; local artisans; silent auction; and free parking all included in the ticket price. Early entry is available at noon for a special price or experience our Connoisseurs Club for a more intimate festival experience. Designated Drive and UNDER 21 tickets are available.
The Saturday morning Santa Barbara Wine Seminar from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. at the Santa Ynez Valley Marriot will feature an in-depth tasting and optional lunch with a wine maker panel moderated by renowned wine writer, Elaine Brown.
Join us on Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m, for the Big Bottle Bash at K'Syrah, a new special event venue in downtown Solvang, featuring large format bottlings of wines brought by guests and winery representatives. In the style of a La Paulee, guests are invited to bring their own bottles to share with fellow guests.
Want to visit up to twelve tasting rooms on an all-inclusive wine tasting pass? Get a Vintners Visa Wine Country Tasting Pass for unique and complimentary offerings at your choice of twelve participating tasting rooms from Thursday - Sunday. Typically 25 - 40 wineries and tasting rooms participate in this program. When you purchase your visa, you will select the pick-up location of the actual visa. You will print out the ticket receipt, take the receipt to your chosen winery/tasting room, and exchange the receipt for a Vintners Visa.
Throughout the four day weekend many wineries host their own events, including open houses, winemaker dinners, library tastings, and barrel tastings. Some of these individual events require reservations directly with the host winery.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Only 21 or older to taste. ID required. Under 21 attendees required to purchase a Designated Driver ticket.
Can I bring my dog to the event?
No. Pets are NOT allowed at the Festival.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Free on-site parking is available. $30 per person round-trip bus tickets are available from Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, and Lompoc.
What can't I bring to the event?
No coolers. No outside alcohol. No glass. No pets.
