Santa Barbara Motorsports, KTM, and KLIM Present The 4th Annual "Palms To Pines" Dual Sport Ride 2019

About this Event

Santa Barbara Motorsports, KTM, and KLIM are proud to announce the 4th annual "Palms to Pines" dual sport ride! The ride consists of 130+ miles on Saturday, May 18th over West Camino Cielo Rd., down Refugio Rd., loop around Figeroa Mountain and return back via Hwy 154 to the 246, then up and over Refugio Rd. We then travel a short distance on Hwy 101 North, to the beautiful La Quemada Ranch where by special invitation we will B.B.Q and camp by the beach. A continental breakfast will be served the following morning.

The ride will leave at 9:00 a.m. from Santa Barbara Motorsports, located at 6466 Hollister Ave. Goleta, CA. Please arrive by 7:00 a.m. to sign in. Registration ends at 8:30 a.m. Riders meeting will be @ 8:30 a.m. Price for the ride, transport, camping and food is $50.00 per person. You must register early to be guaranteed food, drink, and a camp spot! Last year sold out early, so sign up now to reserve your place, as this event will fill up fast! Limit 85 riders. Licensed, street legal dual sport, enduro, or adventure bikes only. No street bikes.

The La Quemada Ranch is located North of Santa Barbara/Goleta between Refugio and Gaviota State Park. Santa Barbara Motorsports will transport your gear to the campsite if needed. A sweep of the route will be provided on Saturday the 18th only. Come join us for a day's ride in the beautiful Santa Ynez Mountains, to the pristine beaches of La Quemada Ranch…

THIS JUST IN!!! BDR, Backcountry Discovery Routes will be showing the premiere of their movie CABDR California South Expedition presented by KTM and Motodiscovery:

CABDR-South is the ninth route created for dual sport and adventure motorcycle travel, and the first wintertime BDR. The spectacular yet challenging 820-mile ride across the south-eastern region of California starts in Yuma, AZ, and ends in Benton, CA. Primarily using rugged two-track and remote dirt roads, the route leads riders through majestic canyons, rocky riverbeds, and sandy washes of California's famous deserts and national preserves. You'll experience quirky desert enclaves and ghost towns, visit historic mines, see ancient petroglyphs and intaglios, dip in healing mineral hot springs and ride among the unique Joshua trees in the Mojave National preserve.

BDR is showing this movie premiere Nationwide in theaters and motorcycle shops but by attending Santa Barbara Motorsports P2P ride, you get to watch it free with your ticket purchase! The movie will play shortly after dinner at the La Cuemada Ranch.
