The Intercultural Diversity Center will be hosting the Sankofa African-American Museum. Sankofa takes audiences on a journey through slavery, the era of King Cotton, and the uplifting days of Emancipation which is essential for the Capstone community as it fosters cultural awareness and cultural competency. The Sankofa museum will take place from 11:00am to 4:00pm throughout Monday, February 8 to Thursday, February 11, 2021 in the Intercultural Diversity Center (Ferguson 2100). This exhibit will feature two presentations by the exhibit curator, Angela Jennings, for on Monday, February 8th at 6:00pm and Tuesday, February 9th at 12:00pm in the IDC. It will also be featured on the DEI website for student's faculty, and staff working and studying remotely.
