Sangoma's Getting Started Training:
Sangoma's Getting Started Training is a five-day hands-on training course that will get you ready to sell, configure, and deploy Sangoma's portfolio of enterprise products. The training will highlight Sangoma product introductions and specifications, important deployment architecture and strategies, use cases, installation and implementation techniques, and troubleshooting skills.
The full course fee includes 5 days of classroom instruction and an equipment kit that you will keep. The kit includes:
- 1 FreePBX Appliance
- 1 Vega 50 Gateway with 4FXS/2FXO
- 2 Sangoma SIP phones
[ NEW OPTION ] The "Training Class Only - No Gear" pricing comes with the same training, but you will not keep the equipment listed above.
This course will give you hands-on skills and confidence to install and configure these Sangoma products. Training is held in the Sangoma US office's training classroom.
FreePBX. Get familiar with one of the most popular and comprehensive Enterprise Business Communication platforms. Setup and configuration of a FreePBX system including trunking, phones, extensions and lots of other call flow items.
Enterprise Vega Gateways. PBX installations may need gateways to interconnect analog phones and to the PSTN. Learn how to leverage these products to complement any FreePBX installations. Deployment concepts and architecture of Vega Gateways, installation and commissioning, implementation of various solutions, and troubleshooting tools.
Who should attend?
The course is designed for professionals with some prior exposure to VoIP telephony and enterprise PBX deployments.

The Best Western provides complimentary shuttle service to Appleton International Airport (ATW) from 6 AM to 11 PM.

Discounted rates are: $89 USD per night for a Standard King Guest Room or 2 Double Guest Room, and $109 USD per night for a King Executive Suite or 2 Double Executive Suite. The Riverwalk Hotel provides a complimentary taxi ride to/from Appleton International Airport (ATW) - call the hotel to arrange.
If traveling by air, we recommend arriving at the Appleton International Airport (ATW), which is served by Delta, United, and Allegiant, and is only a 15-minute drive from Neenah. Other options include Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB) in Green Bay and General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) in Milwaukee.
Food & Beverage
Sangoma will provide complimentary lunch and beverages daily Monday through Friday. You are welcome to bring your own food, snacks, and beverages. Breakfast and dinner are on your own, with many restaurants and delivery options in the Neenah and greater Fox Cities area. Please let us know if you have specific diatary requirements.
What to Bring
Each student is required to bring a laptop computer to use during class. Although we do have WiFi available, we recommend a network card or the appropriate dongle to connect your laptop to a wired network connection.
