Film screening the “Righting the Wrong” (El Desagravio) (2018) Dir. Gianni Beretta and Patrik Soergel, 2018 | 81 mins | Spanish, Italian with English subtitles.

This highly acclaimed documentary is the story of Archbishop Oscar Arnulfo Romero, Archbishop of San Salvador, who was assassinated in 1980 by the death squads during mass at the Divina Providencia Hospital Chapel.

Panel Discussion “San Romero and the British Connection” Panel members include Julian Filochowski, Chair of the Archbishop Romero Trust, and Clare Dixon, Director Latin America at CAFOD.

Salvadoran Food Discovery Enjoy a traditional dinner of Pupusas and other delicious Salvadoran dishes. Catering by Cuzcatlan. Proceeds from the sale of food and drinks will go to charity.

All funds raised will support the Divina Providencia Hospital in El Salvador, where Archbishop Romero was assassinated while celebrating Mass. The hospital is a non-profit organisation offering palliative care for cancer patients and support to their families.
